Pennsylvania state law mandates that all dogs 3 months or older must be licensed. Dog Licenses must be purchased by January 1st of each year regardless of when the license was purchased the previous year.

Brier Crest Woods is seeking individuals who are reliable, self-motivated, punctual, able to handle stressful situations tactfully, and works well in team settings. Our requirements are as follows:
• Works well with children.
• Proof of certification....
• Making sure swimmers are following the rules.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Our Lifeguards are responsible for maintaining a safe, hygienic, and pleasant environment in the swimming areas. He or she will monitor all activity and conditions for safety hazards, unsafe behavior, and medical emergencies, and will take any corrective action required. Below is an updated list from GCS Landfill of items that they cannot accept and which can NOT be placed into our trash. Spotters are at the landfill and Brier Crest will face a substantial fine for any violation.
Coffee Pots/Kitchen Appliances
Ceiling Fans/Floor Fans
Flourescent Light Bulb
Security is actively monitoring our trash bins. Citations to include a fine will be issued for all trash violations. The trash area is equipped with security cameras.
When in doubt about an item please call the office first.
The open dumpster will once again be available this spring/summer by appointment. Notification will be posted when the first open dumpster is scheduled.
Any fines issued to Brier Crest due to improper dumpster procedures affects us all. Increased costs to Brier Crest for fines imposed can affect our dues structure.
The Waste Authority is located at 183 Commercial Boulevard in Blakeslee off 115 by the Best Western.
They are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the First Saturday of the month by appointment only. There is no fee for disposing of items with the exception of tires.
|BOY SCOUT CLOTHING DRIVE|

Boy Scout Troop No. 98 is continuing their clothing drive. They are accepting new or used clothing, bedding, shoes, toys and bicycles in useable condition. Please drop off donations at the office Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. and Saturday between 9 a.m. and noon.
Pick ups can be arranged by calling the office at 570-646-8802.
Fall is a great time to clean out those unwanted or unnecessary items and a wonderful opportunity to support our local boy scout troop.
|EMERGENCY POWER OUTAGES|

In the event of a power outage the community building will be open to all Brier Crest residents. The community building is equipped with a generator. We have heat, hot water, coffee and restroom facilities. Please feel free to stop in, charge up your device have a hot coffee and warm up.
